Summary:
Set several months before the start of the first BGC OVA, this story centres on the adventures of Aoi Matsubara, one of the SPDs working in Toratotaka's Vancouver Tower (she is also one of the boomeroid prototype 33-S's who nearly died in Second Kantou, later to be brought back to life by Yoshio Saotome).
Recently, Aoi has befriended an aged investor, Janice Kerasus, a woman wise to the ways of the world. But Janice bears a terrible gift. One that can only be used at the death of the gift-giver. A gift that, if used right, can bring great joy...but if used wrong, can bring even greater misery.
What will Aoi do when she is allowed to use Janice's gift?
And will Megatokyo survive the outcome?

Among these girls include the first-ever boomer to become a full-fledged sorceress/magi, Chikage Hirosaki; Rinrin Hatoyama, a teen genius exploring the very process that made her life possible; Marie Susumu, information retrieval specialist in the making; Yotsuba Dunn, one who wants to walk the famous path of Sherlock Holmes; and Sakuya Sukeyama, matchmaker extrordinaire!
In this story, these girls join forces with the Knight Sabres to deal with a silent yet deadly plague unleashed by the head of a major food producer in hopes of stopping overpopulation and saving what meager resources the Earth has left.
